Diagnose a faulty motion sensor

  1. Disconnect the power cord.
  2. Detach the light from the ceiling.
    Note: Support the light, do not let it hang by its cord.
  3. Check that all the connections to the control unit are secure.
  4. Reinstall the light.
    Note: Make sure that the cords are not damaged or pinched during the installation.
  5. Connect the power cord.
    The fan and light switch on for 3 seconds and then switch off.
  6. Enter the pod to see whether the fan and light switch on.
    If the fan and light do not switch on, the motion detector is faulty.
