Straighten the pod

  1. Check the straightness of the pod with a spirit level on both sides. If the pod is not standing straight, complete the following steps.
  2. Remove the body covers. Use a plastic chisel.
  3. Remove the floor grid and table.
  4. Remove the floor threshold.
  5. Pull the carpet out from under the wall felts and remove it from the pod.
  6. Remove the floor cover board.
  7. Remove the cover panels and plates.
  8. Remove the roof cover panel.
  9. Remove the seals between the front side glasses and frames and the seal between the back glasses and frames.
    Note: Do not remove the seal strips between the back glasses.
  10. Open the door completely (180°).
  11. Lift the door to detach it.
  12. Remove the ceiling threshold.
  13. Remove the upper and lower center frames at the front of the pod.
  14. Loosen all the frame and body bolts slightly.
  15. Check the straightness of the hinge-side glass and the pod walls.

    Push the pod from the middle of either wall as needed. Make sure the hinge-side glass is straight. Keep the pod walls and glass straight and tighten the bolts of the hinge-side glass.

  16. Check the straightness of the pod walls.

    Push the pod walls as needed. Keep the pod straight and tighten the remaining body and frame bolts. Tighten also the upper and lower bolts on the strike plate side while keeping the pod straight on the other side.

  17. Reinstall the removed parts.
