Install a fire alarm notification device (strobe, strobe-horn, speaker, speaker-strobe)
DANGER:
Always disconnect the pod from the power outlet
before you begin disassembly, maintenance, moving, or any other procedure.
Note:
The fire alarm notification device can
be installed either to the front or the back of the pod (see image below for the
possible installation locations). In this instruction, the installation to the front
of the pod is shown. If you choose to install the notification device to the back of
the pod, you must remove and install the respective parts on the back of the pod.

This step is necessary only when installing the
fire alarm to the back of the pod.

Note:Place a protective blanket or cardboard on the table and furniture.Note:Be careful not to drop the junction box when removing it. -
Punch out the precut flap in the exterior panel
and in the roof. Use a soft mallet or the handle end of a screwdriver.

Remove the two screws from the ceiling.

Note:The cable lead-through is in the inlet (ceiling) module.Note:Skip this step if you are using rigid or flexible conduit for the wiring. -
Note:The cable strain relief shown in the image is not included in the delivery.Note:If required in your jurisdiction, rigid or flexible conduit can be run through the ceiling and attached to the back of the junction box. -
Note:The two screws are attached to the junction box.Note:The green screw is used for grounding. -
Cut the ceiling interior panel along the
rectangular marking on the inner (white) side of the panel.
Make the final cuts from the outer (visible) side of the panel.

This step is necessary only when installing the
fire alarm to the back of the pod.

Install the base of the fire alarm notification
device to the junction box. Use the two philips-head screws included in the
opposite corners of the junction box.
