Critical installation steps
To avoid insufficient sound insulation and an unusable product, focus especially on the following critical installation phases and compelete them with extra care.
NOT LEVELED FLOOR / POD
Will lead to insufficient sound insulation and to an unusable product!
Level the floor before moving forward in the installation. Check the level also after the installation.
FRAME
Make sure that all bolts are tightened with a proper torque. Check also the vertical level of the frame according to the instructions to ensure perfect sound insulation and component fitting.
GASKETS
Keep an eye on the gaskets! Make sure that all gaskets are positioned / in the same position as shown in the instructions.
ROOF MODULE
Make sure that the roof module is pulled firmly onto the frame and the frame gasket leg is between the roof and the frame.
ELECTRICS
Make sure that all connectors have been securely attached.
CORE UNIT
Make sure that there are no cables covering the unit.
DOOR
Make sure that the positioning screw is installed first. After the door installation, check that the door shuts well and seals properly. If not, check that the pod is level and add the provided shim plate(s) under the bottom hinge if needed.
